Hello!
I'm building my first house, and my builder hadn't specified any LP50 and I had no idea that it was usually installed in the inner corners against the exterior wall between OSB and drywall when you have horizontal 45 interior 600CC. I thought they were only used if you only had drywall, so I didn't miss them when I paneled the whole house. By chance, I stumbled into a thread and started researching a bit, and sure, there's a bit of flex in the middle of the studs, not too bad but it does move a little when you press hard, so an LP50 behind would probably have been good.

All the panels are up in the whole house and most of it is plastered, so the question is how I should solve it.

I've considered whether it's worth taking down the panels in all the corners against the exterior wall (about 30 pieces) and installing an LP50 and redoing the plastering, which feels quite tedious, but if there are no other good alternatives then I guess that's just what I'll have to do. Another thought is (since it's relatively stiff anyway) to plaster in paper strips in the corners and just continue. I've dried out the house thoroughly so I wouldn't think there would be any extreme movements. Soft sealant doesn't feel sufficient, and I'm not primarily thinking about the house's natural movements where it might be more flexible and less prone to cracking than paper strips, but I'm thinking about getting a bit of extra stability in the corners in case something bumps into the wall near the corner.

What do you think? Other alternatives?

I have 17 mm raw wood paneling and then gypsum. Horizontal raw wood paneling on vertical studs and vertical on horizontal studs.
I am quite slow, so the house has dried.

I accidentally placed the metal profile inside the raw wood paneling on 3/4 of the first corners, so they probably don't do much good as the drywall screw doesn't go through.

I have taped with paper tape in the corners. Nothing has happened to the corners yet.

There is no problem running without it with double layer discs, however, with just 1 layer it is required.

That sounds promising, I can't say anything other than that you are saying what I wanted to hear.

I went to investigate the matter more yesterday and you really have to apply quite a bit of pressure for the board to flex, so I feel pretty confident about using paper tape in the corners and going ahead. Thanks for the support! :)

Oh, yet another thing I've missed doing. Thanks for the head's up! :)
