for my extension I will have vertical studs 120*45 and then horizontal studs 45*45 on these horizontal studs I will screw OSB. When I then screw in the gypsum boards, should I use vertical gypsum boards that are only screwed into the OSB or horizontal gypsum boards that are screwed into both the OSB and the stud? I saw Timell who had horizontal OSB and vertical gypsum boards then he had metal angles in the corners. Is it sufficient to screw the gypsum boards only into the OSB?

Hmm I did the same in my extension. That is, I screwed the drywall into the OSB. That's why I have OSB behind it, to have something to screw into.

It's okay to do so... If you don't fully screw down the OSB, also run a row of screws through the gypsum in the horizontal studs. Also, try to stagger all the joints between the two layers.

In the garage, I have 2x4s with standing OSB in full width. Then I attached the drywall standing but started from the corner with a half sheet of drywall. This way, the drywall seams are in the middle of the OSB, making it sturdy and nice. I also screw the drywall into the horizontal studs and only attach the edges to the OSB.
