I am renovating our fireplace. We have laid mortar and then I want a fire-rated board with a motif once the mortar has dried. I've been looking but can't find anything. Does anyone know where I can find that?

What is a disc with a motif?

Fire-rated board e.g. design of stone or brick that can be pasted onto the chimney.

The easiest way is probably to plaster and then tile with natural stone-like tiles. Personally, it feels a bit meta to put brick imitation on top of a brick wall.

From a building preservation perspective, a plastered chimney would probably feel best?
