Ha ha no way. You use shadow strips to avoid sealing. I don’t want to use shadow strips because I think they're ugly. That's why I choose other, prettier strips, and seal them instead.

Ha ha no way. You use shadow moldings to avoid caulking. I don't want to use shadow moldings because I think they're ugly. That's why I choose other, nicer moldings, and caulk them instead.

Oh, I see. But if you install the moldings correctly, there will be no gaps = no caulking needed. The only time I've needed caulk is when I've installed polystyrene moldings, and those you can glue with acrylic caulk.
