Just removed a lot of tiles from the floor with a chisel and hammer (went quite quickly actually). What remains now are the residues of the tile adhesive. What should be done with it? Can it be left as it is and lay new tiles on top of it? Or should it be patched?

Anyone know??

I assume there is a sealant under the adhesive? Then it should also be removed before the new sealant is installed.

It's a laundry room and we hadn't planned to have a waterproofing layer there. So what do you do with the adhesive?

Then there is no problem. Fill over. But you should have a moisture barrier, according to BBV, unless there is emerging moisture from underneath.

Is it in the basement or at ground level?

It is the mezzanine.

Then you should have a tätskikt.
