However, it is not at all about drying out, as Dzollero talks about. The spackel cures, it does not harden through drying. It should not be too cold when casting (which is definitely the problem in this case), then it takes time and becomes worse, but it should not be too warm and dry either. Then the spackel dries too intensely, which can lead to edge lifting.

Linus - Can you give a shout when you get a response from the manufacturer? It would be interesting to hear what, besides chrome reduction, is affected with an additional month of storage.

The storage time for Floor 4160 is 6 months. After the storage period expires, we can no longer guarantee the product's strength or final result. There's a chance that it “gets going”, but unfortunately, it's not certain.
