I have installed an air gap in an entire sloping roof with oil-hardened masonite, and now I've read that it shouldn't be oil-hardened masonite but regular so it can breathe... I haven't insulated yet.
Will it condense on the masonite that is oil-hardened now? Should I take it down and switch to regular or just go ahead with insulation? Maybe it's not so bad. I will seal with plastic before the ceiling battens too.

I don't want to make a mistake so the roof starts to mold or something?

Oil-hardened does not mold, unlike regular wood fiber which can. No problem. Go ahead.
