A junction box is hardly a well-ventilated space.

Or well, as it is now at our place when cold air blows in that way, it's extremely ventilated. But usually, it is not. :)

Feels like they just made a product sheet to cover all the rules.

I should probably use mineral wool and stuff it into the conduit connections as best as I can, since nothing else really withstands high heat. At least not as far as I can think of.

Yes, exactly. That's what I mean. :) Hope that's the case anyway.
