Newly laid floor flexes on 3 floors and in all rooms
I hear what you're saying, but a dispute isn't really that simple, and unfortunately the outcome is as uncertain as flipping a coin with today's setup in court. But that's not quite on topic. Glad you've probably found the cause. đȘP Peter Petterson said:

If ARN grants approval and Byggmax still doesn't want to take responsibility, the next instance is the district court.
Today I spoke with the inspector who was on-site and updated him with all the fresh info. And that there is something wrong with the floor is beyond doubt since new unopened packages don't meet the standard.
This means the floor is defective even before it was laid, and in my world, a clear case for a complaint đđș
There it is. But Byggmax will probably argue that the floor should have been checked BEFORE it was installed and then claimed. The uphill battle is not to get the floor claimed but rather to get compensation for broken moldings, painting, and inspections.P Peter Petterson said:The first instance will be ARN if Byggmax does not want to take responsibility.
In case of a decision in favor at ARN and Byggmax still does not want to take responsibility, the next instance will be the district court.

Yes, the floor should be visually inspected and checked before laying; the fact that the floor is convex is not something you can see with the naked eye but requires measuring it with, for example, a square.A atomlab said:
If you lay out 10 boards where 5 are convex and 5 are straight, it is almost impossible to see that there is a fault during a visual inspection.
The nice thing about the consumer purchase law is that you cannot partially approve a complaint.
If there is a fault, all costs to restore/repair the fault should be covered by the one who delivered the product/service at no cost to the customer.
Perfect opportunity for the byggahus gang to rattle the "journalist pens" if things go south for TS against byggmax.
But ugh, what a bad floor. That explains it đ I wonder if it's a poor brand in general or if Byggmax buys their second-rate selection and hopes no one will notice anything đ
In the timber department, I get the feeling that Byggmax's business idea is to buy second-rate. You have to stand and sort for a long time before you find pieces that aren't bent or twisted. You have to sort at Bauhaus and Hornbach too, but at Byggmax, we've had to give up entirely a few times. Nowadays we don't even try to buy timber from there. For flooring delivered in packages, you should expect it to meet the standard. A few ugly boards can be forgiven, but not when 80% are convex.
I hope you get your case against them, but it must be tough that the whole project gets significantly delayed because of this. Will you be able to move in before it's resolved? If it goes to court and so on, it could take forever.

Is it the store where the floor was purchased?
It would be good if Byggmax acted swiftly to avoid unnecessarily many other customers buying and laying the same floor. There are likely already many more unhappy customers.
Might be able to speed up the process.P Peter Petterson said:
I bought 3 doors and frames from Bygghemma. The screws holding the hinges were too small, so they couldn't handle the weight of the doors. Bygghemma's customer service is a joke. So I wrote directly to Sweedoor. They said it had to go through Bygghemma. But I think they helped speed up the process because right after, something happened.
Even though Byggmax gets bad publicity from this, the flooring manufacturer does too. They might want to minimize that.
