need help as I am planning to have quarter rounds in the corners of a paneled room but now realize after putting the chair rail that the quarter round which is 9x9 sticks out badly both where the chair rail meets in the corner and where it ends flat as with the wall molding. Anyone have tips preferably with a picture on how I can finish nicely?
The corner is veeeery far to the left @vanpire
I haven't finished the ends yet, which is why I'm asking for help before I put them up, e.g. in the inner left corner of the image. However, you can clearly see a tiny little breast list it should connect to. The sink will be in this "corner" so you'll have to see what I've done.
So vertically in the corners to hide that I'm still wavering a bit with the saw. At first, I didn't plan on having the quarter round, but when I tried it, I thought it looked nice and full in the inner corners and where the panel and trim meet. However, when I first attached the chair rail and then tried to attach the quarter rounds, I realized they stick out beyond the chair rail. Perhaps I'll take a picture tomorrow when I'm back at the house.
