Nailing brad in metal stud?

I have some considerations on whether to use metal studs or wooden studs in the ceiling and floor. The advantage is that it's easier to attach the other studs to them, but how about when I need to install ceiling and floor moldings? Do they attach well?
I am planning to put OSB on them too, so maybe it will be adequate as support for the brad nail or?

No, if you're going to use plåtreglar, then screw.
A nail requires thicker material than a sheet to sit well, as thick as the nail is long or more.

The carpenters I usually work with cut wood studs that they place in the metal track between each metal stud.
That way they have wood behind when they trim.

I believe that baseboards hold well enough in drywall consisting of OSB/drywall and metal studs. I usually notch in the nail a bit, and I think it works excellently. But it's clear that screwing definitely holds better.

That is quite unusual.
It's just to toe-nail, and it holds. Sometimes the wire nail sets in the metal stud.
