Hello

I abandoned the idea of having a listening room in the basement. It's too expensive and complicated. Besides, I think I would appreciate having my own little nook for listening, where I have complete freedom with the design and where I can't be disturbed by my partner and/or any overnight guests.

The room dedicated to my big hobby will instead be located in the gigantic side building of about 88 sqm:
Hand-drawn floor plan sketch on lined paper with measurements for a room layout, including walls, dimensions, and annotations.
An empty garage space with concrete flooring and white walls, viewed from the open entrance, with a window at the far end.
An empty garage with a concrete floor, white walls, and wooden ceiling beams. A small statue is in one corner, and a metal bucket is on the floor.
Garage interior with light gray drywall and exposed ceiling beams, concrete floor, and a partially visible garage door mechanism on the left side.
An unfinished room with concrete floor and white walls, featuring a window with blinds and a wooden panel on the floor, possibly for a hobby project.
An empty room with concrete floor, windows, and wooden workbenches along the walls, under fluorescent lighting, possibly used for a hobby studio conversion.
Workspace with wooden benches, pegboards with colored bins, and windows with blinds, intended for a future listening room renovation project.
An unfinished room with concrete floors, a window with blinds, a partially wooden floor section, and a large glass pane leaning against a wall.
Wall in construction with a visible gypsum section, part of a project to design a dedicated listening room.
Attic room under construction with exposed rafters and insulation materials scattered on the floor; beams and boards are visible for potential renovation.
An unfinished attic with exposed wooden beams and a stack of insulation materials labeled "Isover.
Wooden rafters and beams inside a large side building, showing the roof structure possibly intended for renovation in a personal listening room project.
Idea: remove the plaster wall in the "guest room" and put up a new one next to the double door (170 cm) to create a room about 865 long. Use about 50 cm on each long side for absorption ≈ width 528.

Do you need to consult a structural engineer to plan adjustments with the roof trusses, or can you go directly to a carpenter?
