Have heard that you should use so-called mouse-net in the holes that form at the bottom when cladding. You could also put in plugs.
Went to look at such a net today, it was called musstop, but I don't understand how to attach it.
Does it have to be put up before the boards?

Saw some new kind of mouse stopper... it's like a thin sheet metal with bent-out tabs... But unfortunately, I can't remember what it was called or where I saw the "advertisement" for it.
Advertisement is in the latest Vi i Villa.

I made a budget version, I cut wooden blocks that I nailed between the lower lids on the bottom beam, it should work at least as well, it might take a little longer....

How does the air gap work in the budget variant?

I wonder that too ;)
The blocks might be 2x3 mm narrower?
I've heard that a small shrew doesn't need a gap of more than 5-6 mm to squeeze in ???

it's not completely tight, but tight enough so a mouse can't crawl in...

I bought TJ musstop, but made a budget version of it. First, I set up under the panel and then cut pieces of musstop and nailed them in between.
Very quick and easy.
