Mount ceiling moldings for easy disassembly
I have bought polystyrene moldings for the ceiling as well as a light strip + diffusion channel that I am going to install (cove light).
I need to have it quite close to the ceiling for it to look nice (maybe just a 1cm gap). What I'm worried about is if I install everything and then the LED strip breaks in six months.
Is there a smart way to mount the moldings so that they are easy to take down if needed? I was considering white Velcro (risk that it becomes too thick and visible underneath?) or maybe some double-sided tape that isn't too strong for removal.
Anyone with experience or a smart idea?

If you want so-called skäpljus, then be aware it will highlight all the imperfections that exist in the ceiling. So try it first and see what comes up. Otherwise, screws are probably the only option if you need to take something down.
I've been so focused on glue/tape/other solutions that I haven't even considered screws xD yeah, maybe that's still the easiest way.J jonaserik said:
I bought these last year and they work very well. One, maybe myth, maybe true, is that the strips need cooling to avoid burning out, and these are a good investment for that. It's likely to get hot up in the ceiling squeezed behind styrofoam.
