I need to cast 2 sturdy foundations for terrace posts/pillars.
I have many bags of Murbruk B lying around.
Do you think it would work to just mix in ballast stones with it to get something concrete-like, into which I can then just insert the anchor brackets?
Each will probably have a maximum load of 500kg with some people on the terrace.

No, it won't be strong enough. But you can add pure construction cement to increase the strength without it costing too much. Add around 5 kilos of cement per Murbruk B sack, and it should become a decent concrete.
