Traditional cement involves very large carbon dioxide emissions. MgO-cement absorbs carbon dioxide from the atmosphere as it cures. Therefore, I would like to use MgO-cement instead of the old traditional CaO-cement.
It's not a big project, a foundation for a greenhouse. A good test project. It also means that I can afford to use a material that might be harder to find and possibly much more expensive without it being too painful.
Apparently, there have been attempts to introduce MgO-cement, but they seem to have failed. If you Google ceramicrete or NOVACEM, you find examples.
Does anyone know if it is possible to buy MgO-cement in Sweden? Or in neighboring countries?

I thought metal fever was only caused by very intense heating that produces fumes/smoke? Particles/dust are easily captured by a mask.
Ordinary cement is dangerous to inhale due to the risk of severe corrosion in the lungs or mucous membranes. So you should wear protective equipment when handling cement bags. For example, when pouring into the mixer.
As I understand it, there's not the same risk of corrosion with MgO-cement? Less dangerous?
But I'm not going to inhale it either...

check with companies that make melting crucibles if you can get tips there

This looks promising, henke_benke. It sounds like you know "many" people who, when they had the choice between using (and therefore being able to buy?) MgO cement or regular cement, opted for the regular cement. And you also seem to know people who, when they used (and therefore bought?) MgO cement, for some reason experienced symptoms similar to metal fever.
Could you ask any of these people where they bought the MgO cement? I am very encouraged by your information because it suggests that MgO cement can actually be found here in Sweden!!! Previously, I was worried that it might not be possible to get hold of.
