I'm working on an extension and stopped by our local Byggmax. I bought some 45x220 for the floor joists. I made an estimate of what it would cost, I remember they cost 49kr/m when I did my first calculation a couple of months ago. But I was surprised when I got to the checkout and had to pay; 57.85kr/m. I found the receipt from before and it said 52.45kr/m. 5.40kr/m more now. But according to my friend, most things have gone up now during the pandemic. Apparently, supply is dwindling. Polystyrene for foundations is supposedly hard to come by. Flooring chipboard and OSB are apparently in short supply too. Not a good year to build.
