Hello, I am new here on the forum and hope I am posting in the right category. We are considering building a niche in the wall of our bedroom. Do you have any tips on which material we should use for the wall if we want to "cast" concrete on the wall, plasterboard, MDF, or what would be best? I am worried that the wall will absorb too much water from the concrete, causing it to crack.
