Hello,
I am in the process of restoring a bathroom where someone once knocked out the wall to a closet that was behind the bathroom and installed a shower there. This was done really poorly (the slope went into the corner instead of towards the drain....) and I am now tearing out the shower area and want to rebuild an interior wall behind the bathroom to restore the closet on the other side. My question is, what material is the smartest to use for building up the interior wall? I initially thought of wooden studs and plasterboards but am starting to lean towards lightweight concrete. The wall will be loaded with wall-mounted shelves inside the closet. And on the other side of the wall, there is just a small toilet space with a washbasin. It feels simpler with lightweight concrete. Or what do you think? And if lightweight concrete, how thick should the blocks be?
Thanks for your answer
Erik
