Material inner wall (Apartment from 1908)
Hello!
I am planning to mount a TV on the wall between the living room and the bedroom. However, I'm unsure about what type of screw/plug etc. I should use given the wall material. The apartment is from 1908, if that can help.
Very grateful for any advice!
Best regards,
C

What material is the wall made of? That's what determines it. Screw directly into wood with wood screws. Drill, plug, screw into stone, concrete, etc.S sekel skiftet1912 said:
It probably doesn't matter, wood, brick, stone, and concrete don't age in a way that affects this. Also, it might have been renovated/changed one or more times in over 100 years.S sekel skiftet1912 said:
What does the landlord/tenant-owner association (brf) say? The best tip is probably to ask there first.S sekel skiftet1912 said:
It was quite common to have kloasong walls as wallpaper in the rooms:

In that case, it's best to attach with long screws that go through plaster and reeds all the way into the wooden planks.
