Hello
The man is going up to the attic where we have loose wool to place his dehumidifier and lay some plastic so that the dehumidifier only dries the area where we've had leakage.
Can he be in the attic with the hatch open without it being dangerous for our children? Is there anything we need to consider?

The children are probably not in the attic, just close the hatch after the old man when he's up there. There's no risk for anyone with the hatch open. Sure, a bit might come down with the old man and his clothes, but just vacuum it up.

What type of loose-fill insulation is it? Are you going to dehumidify a roof leak? Do you have ventilation spaces at the eaves?

If you install a dehumidifier and the attic has an air gap, you will try to dehumidify all of Sweden!

He has put some plastic so that it is only exactly where the moisture is that should be dehumidified. Got the advice from the insurance company.
