Looking for tips on ceiling panels
I am going to renovate a room on the upper floor of a 1½-story house, so sloping ceiling/wall. Currently, there's a woven wallpaper that I would like to remove/conceal with new cladding. I'm not considering nailing a regular wood panel, but I would like tips on a neat and stylish ceiling board that can be installed instead. (It would be nice to avoid wallpapering the "ceiling").
Well, what kind of appearance are you after then...?
I personally install Tak-ess panels. Simple and quick. And no painting or filling.

Tak-ess and Huntonit ceilings are pretty much the same thing, but Tak-ess is significantly cheaper.
I also fasten the boards with a pneumatic staple gun and long (38mm) narrow-backed ga16 staples.
Staples are dirt cheap, and it goes super fast.

Something that looks better than yellow woven wallpaper that comes off in big bubbles... Surprise me!Mikael_L said:
I don't really know what options are available and I'm grateful for any tips. I want to avoid having (too) preconceived notions about how it should look.
Stapling and clips sound incredibly convenient!
Is "ceiling panel" the most common name for this type of material?
