Planning to build an upper level in 1/3 of a larger basement space.
Similar to a wooden loft with a railing and stairs down to the concrete floor on which the whole rig will rest.
About 4x3 meters and approximately 2 meters in ceiling height under the loft is intended.
There are concrete walls all around, so it is possible to frame and support from underneath along 3 walls while the fourth side requires some form of posts.
The question is, how should the construction look and what dimensions should the timber have?
