Hello, I would gladly appreciate any tips. The idea is to create a garage space inside the outbuilding and replace the walk-in door with a garage door. There is a concrete slab measuring about 5.5x3.5 m, but previously there were hinged doors on the gable where the double windows are located. The question is whether the wall is load-bearing. On the loft above, there is a beam running from the ridge down into the floor, and this point is about 60 cm in from the wall in the old garage. Ideally, I would like to remove as much of the wall as possible to create an open space inside and possibly extend 2 m backward to achieve a total length of 8.5 m. Perhaps a steel beam needs to be installed instead, but I would like to be able to drive in with a car if necessary. Grateful for thoughts on this summer's "project" :-/

Hello, again. This is what it looks like in the old garage and the previously mentioned wall. Cows were kept here before, so the "dyngluckan" was still in place under the insulation.
