When removing log walls, one must be very cautious, as it can cause the outer walls to start buckling. Log houses do not function at all like more modern houses when it comes to load-bearing walls. That's what I've learned here on the forum, at least. But for someone more knowledgeable to be able to say something, you probably need to at least show a floor plan.
The actual "partition wall" is not a log wall. However, there are log walls in the house that are partition walls that will not be touched.BirgitS said:
