Hello! So, I have bought a split-level house from Fogelfors built in 1973. On the house's blueprint, there is a door between the kitchen and the living room, but for some reason, that door was never installed. I've acquired a pair of beautiful old double doors that I want to put there, but then there's the issue of whether it's a load-bearing wall or not, which I'm not too sure about. Floor plan showing a section of a house with a red circle indicating the area between the kitchen and living room where a door is proposed. Blueprint of a house showing the floor plan with a red arrow indicating the space between the kitchen and living room where a door is proposed to be added. Blueprint of a 1973 sloped house from Fogelfors, showing a cross-section with dimensions; relevant for installing double doors between kitchen and living room. Blueprint of a 1973 house designed by Fogelfors, showing floor plan with red-circled area indicating a potential doorway location between kitchen and living room. So, as you can see, it's circled in red, there's no existing door there currently, but I want to install a double door and wonder if I can do it without needing to brace with a beam and still sleep well at night! The picture at the bottom is of the lower floor if it's not obvious!

A huge thank you if anyone can help!
