Hi. We are thinking of converting the kattvind into a sleeping alcove. Is there any risk that the wall is load-bearing? I don't think so, but grateful for tips.

The pencil marks where we plan to open up the wall to the kattvind.

Would you say we need to install studs, or can we lay chipboard as it is? Apologies for my ignorance.

It is possible to do, but you need to shift the weight from the support beams you are cutting. Consult a constructor if you're unsure how.

There is a guy here who eagerly cut all the support beams and then posted in the forum about how the entire upstairs was swaying, and then suddenly went silent. I don't think it turned out well for him.

I read that, but several users thought it was fake (his post)
 
I'm not convinced that it's load-bearing. It looks like it was framed after the slatted panel was set, and the studs also don't align with the trusses. How does it look against the floor? Is it on top of the chipboard or whatever flooring you have?

Agree with the above, judging by the pictures, the wall does not seem to be load-bearing; the wall looks like it is framed after the plastic and the sparse paneling.
 
We need to see the section drawing. The drawing you uploaded does not show what is load-bearing.

Normally, the designer only draws load-bearing walls on the section drawing, and that type of trusses usually have braces as indicated in the article I linked to earlier.

If you want to be sure that there are no load-bearing braces in the knee wall, you should probably hire a structural engineer to see how it is done on-site. Such a professional can also provide the basis for a building notification to remove one or more braces if you want to proceed with removing the knee wall despite the presence of braces in it.

Yes, it is the correct drawing and you can see on it that the knee wall is drawn, which means you cannot remove them without bringing in a structural engineer who calculates what you need to install as a beam to offset the weight from the roof.
