Yes, then it immediately became more difficult again! I had hoped for free-spanning truss rafters, but you don't have that. The roof beams clearly take support from the corridor walls on the upper floor, but you can also see struts outside these lines. Where was the photo taken from? How many struts does each roof beam have? What is the snow load zone, i.e., where is the house approximately located?

Here I would choose to bring in someone knowledgeable on site to assess what you should do. As Justus writes, there is nothing supporting in the roof truss but is supported from underneath.
