Hello, I am in the vision stage of building an attached conservatory. One consideration I have is about the load-bearing capacity of my house facade and whether I can load it with a ridge beam etc.

My facade consists of masonry brick (12cm) which stands on the house's plinth. I have also considered using a load-bearing ridge beam of 4m for the conservatory. As a layman, I would like to believe that the wall could handle the task.

What I'd like to hear from you is whether this is a common procedure or if it's completely out of the question.

Facing bricks are not intended to be load-bearing. You cannot use the brick to support a ridge beam; instead, it must be anchored in the framework behind the brick. However, you can attach plant supports and similar structures to the brick.
