Liquid plug / plug compound - what options are available?
Hello!
For tricky setups in porous concrete, I have successfully used fischer fill & fix injection mortar / liquid plug. However, it is incredibly expensive and costs about 200 kronor for a small epoxy-like double tube.
Has anyone tried a good alternative? I'm excluding chemical anchors / anchor mortar as it smells terrible when used indoors. I also prefer that you can fill in the hole, and then screw into it later.
I found something called "pluggmassa," but I'm not sure if it's as good? It also seems a bit trickier to find: http://www.jarnhornan.se/product_info.php?products_id=5323
Here's another alternative, but I don't know what cement-based filler is: http://www.viivilla.se/gor-det-sjalv/renovering/satt-fast-en-los-plugg/
Grateful for tips!
Best regards,
Daniel

Have you tried styren-free anchor mass? Then it won't smell as much like solvent. I set fence post supports with Biltema's chemical anchor and didn't think it smelled significantly.

I have also used chemical anchors, both expensive brands and Biltema, indoors. It smells a bit right when you use it. But it stops smelling very quickly.
Can you screw directly into the chemical anchor afterward? Or how does it work? Do you just spray it straight into the hole and let it cure or?H hempularen said:
