How do you attach the rule to a slanted roof??

Are you planning to build on existing roof trusses to make room for insulation, or what more specifically do you mean you want to do?

I'm going to move the existing wall outwards to the outer wall... If I place a stud on the sloped ceiling, then the angle will be "wrong"

You can split the regeln into a triangle. Alternatively, you can make wedges to screw the regeln into, but then you might have the problem of not having anything to nail the taklisten into.

That's what I was afraid of... :-/

So you are supposed to set a new beam against the truss that is closer to the outer wall than today if I understand correctly... can't you just carve out a section with a chisel on the beams for the trusses so that they end up vertical? Or am I misunderstanding? (have a headache )

Have you checked whether the truss can handle the outward movement of the support wall, and if so, how much? If not, consult with a structural engineer who can do a calculation for you, it wouldn't be fun if you move it too far and the truss gives way.
