We have taken down a wall made of blåbetong. After the demolition, it is now uneven, the goal is to even it out so it blends with the adjoining wall.

How do we do this in the best way and what materials and tools are needed? We were advised to use Husfix from Bauhaus. Is this something you recommend?

Thankful for a response.

  • Torn-down blue concrete wall with rough edges, revealing an uneven joint with the adjacent wall; construction debris and tools visible on the floor.
  • Uneven floor with exposed blue concrete and surrounding wooden parquet after wall removal, with tools and debris nearby.
  • Close-up of uneven blue concrete wall surface post-demolition, showing rough texture and irregularities needing smoothing for alignment with adjacent walls.

The biggest drawback of house repair for such large areas is that it is not cost-effective. I would rather buy a sack of dry mortar (20kg C-mortar) and use it to smooth the surface. Once the mortar has hardened, you can apply regular wall filler, so don't apply the mortar too thickly as it will be difficult to achieve the correct level for the repair. It's good to start on a smaller scale to see the results, as it may require some practice if you're doing it for the first time.
