In the spring, I will start building a laundry room in our unfurnished and somewhat damp basement. The house is of the split level type, and the laundry room will be built in the part that is almost entirely above ground. The laundry room will be constructed at one end of a larger "storage area" in the basement. I have an idea of how the whole thing should be constructed but need a little feedback.
The plan is to lay out concrete blocks with basic paper on top and then frame up a completely new floor on these. New walls will also be framed with approximately ten cm of air gap between the new wall and the brick exterior walls. It will thus be a new room within the room where air can flow freely around the entire construction. Everything will be insulated, and underfloor heating will be installed. Thanks to the concrete blocks creating a substantial gap between the new floor and the basement floor, there will be plenty of space to run pipes to the floor drain, etc., without needing to tear up the basement floor.
Hope you get the idea! For me, as an amateur, I think it might work without future problems with moisture and mold, but am I thinking wrong or missing something important?
Grateful for your opinions!

Right, I just realized some might be wondering.
But we have about three meters so there shouldn't be any problems.
Took a quick look at the nivell system. Probably good, but I'm not convinced that it would be much less work with it....
The price is likely to be at a completely different level too, or how about a wooden rule 45x70x3600 for 150 sek!!?? you'll need a few of those and preferably of thicker dimensions than that.....

krills probably refers to Nivell's prices on studs. :
that's right....
I realize that Nivell's system is based on exactly the same principle as my own calculations, albeit refined. But it gives some confirmation that I'm not completely off track with my plans.

... you're right about that. One does have some pride....
