Large washers with small center hole that do not rust?
Do you have any tips on affordable washers at least 60mm in diameter with an inner hole of 4-6mm that do not rust?
I plan to mount tie knobs for tarp straps on the grid gates of the trailer.
I have found these, but they seem to be quite expensive and I need 30:

Such large ones in stainless steel are probably hard to find in stores, do they have to be round?
Otherwise, a metalworker can cut what you want, thickness, size and holes (he might punch the holes) doesn't cost much.
Then keep in mind to attach it to a grid, they move upwards in the grid hole, so maybe a bit larger than 60 mm is needed.

You gave me an idea there...L Liteavvarje said:Such large ones in stainless steel are probably hard to find in stores, do they have to be round?
Otherwise, a sheet metal worker can cut what you need, thickness, size, and holes (he might punch the holes) and it doesn't cost much.
Keep in mind that they need to be fastened in a grid, they go upwards in the grid hole, so maybe a bit larger than 60 mm is needed.
Let a sheet metal worker cut aluminum/zinc sheet into strips that cover the entire length of the grids and a bit higher than the holes in the grids so it fits even better.
Eight strips are enough, and then I drill the holes myself...
If you can't find a decent plåtslagare, Biltema has quite large galvanized washers http://www.biltema.se/sv/Bygg/Faste...rickor/Varmforzinkat/Limtrabricka-2000023763/
I've visited the metalworker and he cut aluminum tread plate for 200:-. Seems like this is going to be great!L Liteavvarje said:Stainless steel ones that large are probably hard to find at the department stores, do they need to be round? Darn, it looks nice and neat, you can even put hooks for thicker ropes on those plates now. Yes, that's how all trailer cages should look, but they have to be cheap; now there's a solution for others here to follow.P-plats said:
