Well maybe, can you recommend it? If so, what size staples?
Since it's faster with staples, maybe more and smaller ones work better. I think Bosch has one that takes 15 mm long, should be enough.

It is not the same thing, disc nails are similar to roofing nails but galvanized and thin, about 1.4 mm round flat head
Yeah, I noticed the difference in the heads... large round or conical.

Have such panels on the wall in the hallway and we glued and nailed into the tongue, but also put some nails into the beadboard, using a nail set and covering with tippex (available in a pen that you can dab out) or equivalent, it is barely visible.

Type of roofing nails, you can probably use drywall screws in the middle of the board but might have to countersink them a bit in such a hard board.

remember that I tore away the old ceiling that was attached with a staple gun, it was attached quite well!

but then they were stapled maybe every 5-10 cm
now I have the studs across = the closest is every 18th cm approximately when I put in extra studs...

It's easy to run into branches and then it breaks the disc, I've tried it.

OK.

but buying a staple gun sounded fun... so just for that, it might be worth a try? :D

Good with a clarification, it seems like we/some people write without reading what others have written, hmmm it got complicated, or an additional clarification, I sometimes do not read what others write, you are right Elkludde! But I was referring to dyckert not skivspiken! :banghead: I think I've become more stupid in recent years.....than what was possible!

Darn, and I bought nails today with countersunk heads :/

also glue and clips...

It will be exciting. I have set up my Huntonit Symfoni with brad nails and drywall screws. No glue. But it has been in place for 2 years without moving. Will glue for safety next time :)
