Is it something to care about and address, or should I just accept it?
If I can avoid it, I'd rather not put a beam in the ceiling...

Updating with some pictures of how the wall was framed, either it can strengthen the theory that it is not load-bearing, or if it is, so I know if I should put up a beam or not =)

Wooden studs frame an unfinished wall on a wooden floor near a staircase, showing electrical wiring, for structural examination.

Framed wall structure with exposed wooden studs and electrical wiring, indicating a home renovation project under discussion for potential load-bearing evaluation.

Close-up of a wooden stud with a measuring tape showing measurements, part of a discussion on whether the wall is load-bearing.

Best regards, Jonas.

There is no reason to place a beam there. Compare with the family room, the same roof structure without a beam …
The roof is supported by the trusses. Aren't they the same throughout the house?

A bit hard to see in the pictures with the ceiling tiles and the floor continuing under/over the studs, right?
If they do, just tear it down. But I'm quite sure it's not load-bearing. If it were on the ground floor, I would have been more cautious.

Great!
As far as I know, it's the same trusses throughout the house!
Thank you so much for the help!

Take care!!
