Good evening!

I just need to double-check to make sure I'm not making a mistake, I'm in the process of building a new floor and want a diffusion-open construction, can someone confirm if regular oil-hardened underfloor boards are diffusion-open? I got very vague answers at the building supply store. A small side question is also if there's a difference between waxed underfloor boards like Moelven and these oil-hardened ones from Bo Andrén?

They must be considered diffusion-open. The difference between Moelvens and Andréns must be negligible. To achieve diffusion density, the material must contain asphalt or similar. Oil treatment does not provide diffusion density. Compare with linoljefärg which is diffusion-open.
