Hi! We are building a new place and will have wood paneling up to the ridge in the ceiling and on the walls. We don't want any moldings either in the ceiling or where the wall meets the floor and ceiling. Has anyone done something similar and can share pictures and how you did it?
Thanks!

Place the roof first and then set the panel on the walls up against it. However, it entirely depends on what type of panel it is.

I built without moldings. Considered how the shadow effects are seen from where you are most, for example, installed ceiling panels before wall panels so that the ceiling panel overlaps the edge of the wall panel. The ceiling panel was installed starting from the ridge beam to keep the full panel width intact next to the ridge beam. Laid the floor before the wall panel. Adjusted the last panel next to the floor where it's not very visible.

Thank you for your responses! We will be using standing Moelven panel. Our plan is to 1) install gable panel, 2) miter the roof at the ridge, 3) floor 4) long side wall, mitered at the top. We considered using a few mm "template" spacer between the floor and wall to achieve a nice straight line and for movement allowance.

Hi. Planning to do something similar to what you intended. Do you have any tips to share before I start?
