I am in the initial phase of a quite extensive kitchen renovation and have a couple of questions regarding the insulation of floor joists in the kitchen and dining room.
The foundation is built with slag stone and then there are timber joists at about 60CC where there used to be full of wood shavings. Now that we are going to replace the floor, I thought it might be a good idea to install new insulation before closing up the floor. I called various insulation companies this week. One of the local ones spoke highly of wood fiber insulation (Termoträ) while the other two did not quite agree that wood wool was the best option. The company that advocated wood wool thought it was perfect because moisture could pass through the wool.
After a quick Google search, I found this test

In the middle of the page, they list different properties, and what speaks against termoträ is that it gets a 1 in mold resistance. Doesn't sound very promising.
Now to the question.
Does anyone have experience with wood wool (spray insulation) in floor joists and especially negative ones?
