Hi!

What is a suitable method for securing the boards between the rafters before installing the plastic sheet and the slatted panel? The roof pitch is 27 degrees, are there any suitable "straps" to nail up, like two strips per board?

Drive in the pappspik at regular intervals on the rafters and then wrap spool thread crisscross between them after you have placed the insulation.

I have heard that there are some sort of plastic bands intended for the purpose that you fasten with a stapler. Another method that was used in the past was to drive small nails that you wrapped wire between.

In both of the above cases, it can probably be left in place? The nail may need to be hammered in all the way after lacing so that you don't puncture the plastic in the next step.

Drive with a stapler gun then it will be even enough.

I wrapped and spaced about 1m, then inserted the insulation boards, wrap and space another 1m, inserted the insulation boards, and so on all the way to the ridge, which worked excellently.

I took regular packing tape and taped between the rafters and then shot some staples with the staple gun to hold them in place.
