I will insulate a sloped roof and after I set up the air gap, there are only 155mm left on the truss to insulate. I was considering around 400mm insulation.
Can I cut a 145 beam and attach small pieces of it at approximately 50 cm intervals and a 95 beam across the entire area? I need sturdy screws for the 145 mm beams.
155+145+95 = 395
I was thinking of using 2 x195mm insulation boards in the ceiling.
Does it work to screw such thick beams into the trusses? Without everything collapsing?
