Insulate internally, timber+panel

Hi dear friends,
Need advice and insights regarding a minor renovation of an interior wall (see image). Should I apply some type of wind barrier or something else before insulating and installing the framework?
I can mention that the house is from the turn of the century (at least) and was heated with tile stoves until the 60s/70s and thereafter with electric radiators.

Try to drive so it becomes tight or vapor brake of wire-reinforced paper. Or clay plaster because it protects the logs against moisture.
