We are in the process of completely renovating a house from 1940 with a basement and two floors. The existing wall construction consists of paneling, standing plank 70mm, an air gap of about 20mm, horizontal roof boards, and masonite.
We have drained and insulated the basement from the outside, we will additionally insulate the facade with Västkustskiva during the panel replacement, and the floors are being lifted to insulate and install underfloor heating. But I am a bit unsure about what to do with the inside. The walls are straight, no moisture, and we want to retain as much of the space as possible. Therefore, I am considering embedding the installations (primarily electrical) in the roof boards and fishing my way through the air gap to then simply drywall the walls. The masonite has been removed.

Right or wrong?
