I am in the process of building a bathroom and laundry room in the house which is made of some form of hollow brick. It looks like some sort of block anyway, but it's not Leca. The house was built in 1909. Now the question is how I should go about covering the inside of the wall without getting moisture problems. The space that is to be built in used to be a stable part in the past, so the plaster on the inside today is in varying condition. Can something be solved by just putting OSB+plasterboard on a steel frame 20 mm inside the stone structure?
