I wonder if anyone has built or evaluated building a wall made of glass? Any tips?
We have a space I would like to convert into a home office. The problem is that the remaining area becomes a corridor without windows, which makes it quite dark. Therefore, my idea is to install a glass wall so that I get an office space of about 1.5m*4m. The wall to be built would be 4m. One idea is to have a glass wall to let in light from the 2 windows in the intended office. An important aspect is that it needs to be quite isolated so that conversations outside can't be overheard or be disturbed by outside noise.
Another suggestion could be to make the lower part of the wall in wood. Perhaps this would help keep the noise level down? What would you do? Material under 40000kr is desirable. Where should one turn to for this type of solution? I live in Dalarna.
