We are going to paint and wallpaper in a staircase and also replace some moldings. But the problem is the working position. Between the corners in the staircase, there is a 1-meter difference in the steps. T A staircase with partially stripped wallpaper, exposing old layers, and grey wooden paneling on the lower walls, highlighting renovation work in progress. Wall in a staircase under renovation, with partially removed wallpaper, showing uneven, exposed areas. Ceiling visible at top, needing repairs. Staircase with worn carpet treads, partially peeled wallpaper on walls, and a large blue bag; renovation in progress. ceiling height at the highest point in the staircase between the ceiling and staircase is 4.5 meters. Is there any scaffolding or ladder that is good to have for working in a staircase or any other good solution? I am attaching some pictures to make it easier to understand.

The easiest way is to build a structure from scrap wood.

Jetpack is convenient in such situations. Alternatively, build a ställning.

Good but expensive, I checked our gross price 5700kr + VAT, the best advice might be to rent one from Ramirent or similar.

Some balkskor, reglar, and chipboard solved it for me. Cheap and relatively smooth :)

  • A partially constructed room with wooden beams, joist hangers, and particleboard, under an angled ceiling with unfinished walls.
