How well does 50mm channel plastic insulate?

Good day again.

I still haven't decided what type of sliding door to have.

The conservatory will have a 50mm channel plastic roof. Old double-glazed windows and insulated walls and subfloor. A waterborne radiator will be installed.

Will I need a winter garden sliding door system, or is autumn plus sufficient?

It's about 25000 or 12000 kronor for each option.

Would guess that it's better to install a heat pump instead.

If you have expensive waterborne heating, you can't shut it down when needed.

I would think it's better to install an air-source heat pump instead.

If you have expensive hydronic heating, you cannot leave it unheated when needed.

I have a fireplace in the next room, so if the electricity for the heater becomes too expensive, I'll use the fireplace instead.

I don't want a noisy air-source heat pump near that room. It's located right next to my living room. It's a place for peace and quiet.
