Time to fix the outdoor furniture. This year I'm sanding them down before oiling/lacquering. But I'm having trouble with the sandpaper coming off all the time. So irritating!

Is there a trick I can use to keep the sandpaper in place? The store is closed so I can't go buy a new "triangle".

A sanding tool on wood with a detached sandpaper next to it; headphones lie on the grass nearby.

A triangular sanding pad is attached to an electric sander, used on outdoor wooden furniture. Sandpaper is showing signs of detachment.

Double-sided tape? Works on sandpaper discs.

Thank you for the tip, but double-sided tape unfortunately worked poorly on these triangular sandpapers with holes in them.

I'll have to try again tomorrow.

Looks like you've broken the triangular plate on the machine. Buy a new one.

And now I've read the entire post. I have no home remedy for a hillbilly repair of triangles.

I have... contact adhesive works. I've tested it :o
