Foundation approximately 1.5m thick, rest above the basement
Today partially poured but also filled with sand
Planning to remove the sand.
Have torn out due to cat urine, but there is still a smell in the structure which I do not consider a reasonable work effort to tear out.
Would like to minimize air movement primarily around the beams with odor. Like making it "tight" with plastic around the beams!?
Would have liked to place plastic over everything but that would reasonably be too airtight.
Is there something you can cast with that also insulates?
Can regular glass wool be laid directly against the concrete/stone?
Felt paper before the solid oak floor is laid back?
