Hi,
Does anyone have an instruction/diagram on how to cut corners of wind barge sheet metal or water board sheet metal for a pent roof? 90 degrees.

Best regards,
Peter

No sheet metal worker on the forum?

You probably need to give a bit more info on exactly which corner you mean. But I guess it's the ones on the "high" side?
Intuitively, I would cut 45° neatly on the side that will be on top (forward) and a little less than 90° on the sheet that will be underneath,

Something like this:
Illustration showing a metal sheet with 45° angled sides on top and sides angled less than 90° on bottom, demonstrating corner cutting.

I have followed this thread [link] but the answer above works well too!
Hello. Thank you. I'm considering an advanced version like this one, but it's hard to see what happens on the underside. It should be possible to do the same on a shed roof.

That one is definitely stylish! Will the folding be so visible that you'll see it? There's a risk that it might be a bit overdone otherwise. Granted, if something is worth doing, it's worth doing properly!

It was definitely a clever solution. The sheets probably interlock underneath, securing each other. And the flap on the left comes as a result of this, but it can look nice.
You should buy a few extra meters of sheet to practice on.

If it is made for real, it is hakfals, otherwise it is overlap with omslag

Thanks for the tips. The sheet metal work on the apartment building, from which the picture is taken, is a real delight to look at.
